Is it necessary to accept diversity within ourselves before we can expect the acceptance of diversity from others? Is this not the principle behind the give and take; the act of concession for the sake of profit? It is not far fetched to think that many people, vocal and nonvocal, believe that their perspective is the right perspective; but how many people ever consider the alternative that their perspective is wrong? Diversity of internal thought is not the holding of a plethora of ideas we "know" to be correct, but rather the acceptance of a multitude of assurances and doubts about what we think we know.
